一、IATA簡介

IATA的英文全稱為International Air Transport Association——國際航空運輸協(xié)會，簡稱國際航協(xié)。其官網(wǎng)對IATA是這樣介紹的：

The International Air Transport Association (IATA) is the trade association for the world's airlines, representing some 260 airlines or 83% of total air traffic. We support many areas of aviation activity and help formulate industry policy on critical aviation issues. IATA’s mission is to represent, lead, and serve the airline industry.

1、它是一個Trade Association——同業(yè)公會、行業(yè)協(xié)會。

2、它的服務對象for The World's Airlines——為航空公司服務。

3、它的服務范圍Air Traffic/ Air Transport——航空運輸業(yè)。

3、它的任務是to represent, lead, and serve the airline industry——代表、領導和服務航空公司和航空業(yè)。

4、它的成員representing some 260 airlines——其主要會員是航空公司。

二、ICAO簡介

ICAO的英文全稱為International Civil Aviation organization——國際民用航空組織，簡稱民航組織。其官網(wǎng)對ICAO是這樣介紹的：

The International Civil Aviation organization (ICAO) is a UN specialized agency, established by States in 1944 to manage the administration and governance of the Convention on International Civil Aviation (Chicago Convention).

ICAO works with the Convention's 191 Member States and industry groups to reach consensus on international civil aviation Standards and Recommended Practices (SARPs) and policies in support of a safe, efficient, secure, economically sustainable and environmentally responsible civil aviation sector……ICAO's mission is to achieve the sustainable growth of the global civil aviation system.

1、它是a UN specialized agency——聯(lián)合國下屬的一個專門機構。

2、它是established by States——國家之間發(fā)起成立，其締約國為國家。

3、它的工作內容to manage the administration and governance of the Convention on International Civil Aviation (Chicago Convention).——管理和協(xié)調芝加哥公約所規(guī)定的事項。

4、它的目標是to reach consensus on international civil aviation Standards and Recommended Practices (SARPs) and policies……——為促進全球民航安全、有序發(fā)展，制訂國際空運標準、條例和政策，協(xié)調各成員國行動。

5、它的成員為the Chicago Convention's 191 Member States——簽訂了芝加哥公約的191個成員國。
